Cosmos's First Social Network

Led a team of eight engineers to deliver the first native social network for the Cosmos ecosystem. The platform integrates an NFT marketplace, DAO governance, decentralized social feeds, and the .tori name service.

The Ecosystem

The sovereign Teritori chain is built on Cosmos SDK v0.47.6 and CometBFT v0.37.2, utilizing CosmWasm v0.41.0 for contract execution. Inter-Blockchain Communication is implemented via IBC-Go v7.3.1 for trustless asset and data transfer. Three custom Cosmos modules handle airdrop distributions, cross-chain transaction routing, and native token minting.

NFT Marketplace

Full marketplace with minting, listing, and trading of NFTs across Cosmos chains. CosmWasm smart contracts handle escrow, royalties, and collection management.

DAO Governance

On-chain governance system for creating and managing DAOs. Proposal submission, weighted voting, and treasury management through smart contracts.

Social Feed

Decentralized social feed with rich text editing, hashtag discovery, and peer-to-peer messaging via Wesh Network. Content stored on-chain for censorship resistance.

.tori Name Service

Human-readable naming system mapping .tori names to on-chain addresses. Integrated across the platform for identity resolution and discoverability.

Multi-Chain Frontend

The frontend is a React Native + Expo monorepo supporting iOS, Android, Web, and Electron desktop. Thirteen packages cover everything from auto-generated CosmWasm contract clients to peer-to-peer messaging. Natively multi-chain, providing a unified interface for Cosmos, Ethereum, Solana, and Gno.land.

Outcomes

Thirteen packages in a monorepo spanning four target platforms. IBC-enabled cross-chain token transfers and message passing. Custom Cosmos modules for airdrops, interchain transactions, and minting. Open-source from day one.
